In the first post-season game, the eleventh seed Lancers fell to the sixth seed Cougars 66-46 at SM Northwest, ending the 2022-23 season for the boys basketball team. After the first quarter, the Lancers trailed 15-10. At half, the Lancers were down 25-19. By the end of the third quarter, the Lancers were losing 40-29. Seniors Dillon Mong and George Kopp led the team in scoring with a combined 22 points and also contributed 6 rebounds and 4 assists combined. This was the second face-off of the season between the two teams, with the previous game ending with the Cougars winning 57-55, also played at SM Northwest. The team ended the season with an overall record of 9-12.
