After 16 rounds of golf, Rockhurst narrowly defeated East by two matches, winning with an overall record of 9-7 in match play on Tuesday, April 18th at Swope Memorial Golf Course. Senior Thomas Gogel led the team winning his match by three holes with two holes remaining. Senior Ben Slicker and sophomore Wylie Curtis, the number two and three seeds, both fell to Rockhurst players by five holes.
The team’s next match is the Boys Varsity Golf Invitational against Mill Valley on Thursday, April 27 at Sycamore Ridge Golf Course.
