Over a week ago on Feb. 7. the Lancers were named the 2026 Sunflower league champions, and had 7 state cuts. On Feb. 12. The Lancers attended their last meet before state in hopes to get more cuts before they leave for state. Sophomore Hampton Boyd got a state cut while swimming the 500 yard freestyle with a time of 5:18.28 and senior Luke Sinatra got one during the 100 yard Butterfly with a time of 56:86. In total they have 9 state cuts from freshman Austin Durbin, Ben Walsh, sophomore Hampton Boyd, junior Charlie Holloway and seniors Hank Hendon, Henry Saylor, Sawyer Chapman.
