Seniors Piper Benjamin, Alex Carreno, Lydia Coe, Ava Cooper, Robbie Cotton, Riley Eck, Grace Fields, Julia Fillmore, CJ Leonard, Dillon Mong Lucas Prendiville, Louis Prosser-Gedhardt, Brayden Reynolds, Jill Rice, William Shrock, Hassan Sufi, Rafael Washburn, and Anna Wurst were elected as 2023 sweetheart candidates. On Friday Feb. 10 six candidates were elected during halftime at the boys varsity basketball game, which was determined by the student body through a google form. The sweetheart royalty was crowned to seniors Hassan Sufi, CJ Leonard, Louis Prosser-Gedhardt, Grace Fields, Ava Cooper, and Anna Wurst.

Liv Madden, Photo Editor

Entering her third and final year on staff, senior Liv Madden is ready to set a good example and be a great leader as Head photo editor. While she is not sitting in the back of the journalism room with her fellow staff members, she enjoys playing Lacrosse, being a member of the student store, and competing in DECA.

Emily Pollock, Photo Mentor

Senior Emily Pollock is going into her last year on The Harbinger as a photo mentor. She is excited to spend her senior year at deadlines, in the J-room and on many photo adventures. Outside of The Harbinger she’s involved in tennis, swimming, DECA and lacrosse. When she isn’t shooting, you can find her at Starbucks, Barnes and Noble or hanging with her friends. Emily cannot wait to see what the year brings on The Harbinger.

Ryan Dehan, Staff Photographer

Going into his second and final year on the Harbinger, senior Ryan Dehan is coming into the new year with new responsibilities on the staff. Now a Photo Mentor, Staff Photographer and Video Producer, Ryan will be able to work on videos with the video crew, as well as shoot big sports games, pep assemblies and more. When Ryan isn’t in the back room of the J room, he is playing football, working out, hanging out with friends or playing soccer. On top of Harbinger, Ryan is a SHARE Exec, Link Crew Leader and he plays varsity football and runs track.

Molly Miller, Print Photo Editor

Entering into her fourth and final year, senior Molly Miller is ecstatic to be a Head Print Photo Editor for the Harbinger. When she’s not editing in Photoshop in the backroom, Molly is hanging out with friends, cleaning her room, or going for a walk around Prairie Village listening to Zach Bryan or Megan Moroney.

MJ Wolf, Staff Photographer

Senior Mj Wolf is so excited to start her sixth semester on staff as a photographer. In addition to Harbinger, Mj is one of the SHARE chairs on the Breast Cancer Awareness Bake Sale and Unleashed projects. When she isn’t shooting galleries, you’ll find her watching movies with friends, cooking with family or trying a new coffee shop. Mj can’t wait to see what this year brings and is pumped to capture her senior year.
