Gallery: Girls C-Team Basketball Defeats BV Northwest 37-31

With a current record of 9-2, Lancers C-Team basketball defeats BV Northwest 37-31 on Jan 25. At the end of the first half, the Lancers were down 15-14. In the final quarter, the Lancers took the lead with a final score of 37-31. The team made only 6 of the 20 free throws during the game, and three-pointers were scored by freshman Emma Carolan, sophomore Sofia Beedle, and freshman Zahra Orangifard.

The team’s next game will be on Jan 31 vs Gardner Edgerton at 7:00 p.m. at home.

Entering into her fourth and final year, senior Molly Miller is ecstatic to be a Head Print Photo Editor for the Harbinger. When she’s not editing in Photoshop in the backroom, Molly is hanging out with friends, cleaning her room, or going for a walk around Prairie Village listening to Zach Bryan or Megan Moroney.

Kate Beaulieu, Staff Photographer

Senior Kate Beaulieu is going into her third and final year on Harbinger as a Staff Photographer. When Kate isn’t taking sports photos, specifically lacrosse ones, she can be found babysitting, rewatching 10 Things I Hate About You, and hanging out with friends. During school hours, Kate is taking AP classes, playing tennis, being social media coordinator for the Freelancer, being a chair for Unified Teams, and playing varsity lacrosse.

Senior Charlotte Emley is starting her second year on The Harbinger as a staff photographer. When Charlotte isn’t running around shooting events and editing photos, she enjoys hanging out with friends, going to Power Life and is on the Shawnee Mission East swim team. She is very excited to be a senior on staff and see all she accomplishes.
