Gallery: Girls C Team Basketball Defeats Blue Valley North 39-23

In their second game of the season, the Lancers defeated Blue Valley North 39-23 on Wednesday, Dec. 7. At halftime, the Lancers led 20-7 and kept their lead throughout the game. Number 44, sophomore Sophia Beedle, was the top scorer with a total of 11 points.

The next C team basketball game will be on Dec. 13 at 4 p.m. vs Bishop Meige at Bishop Meige.

Charlotte Emley, Staff Photographer

Senior Charlotte Emley is starting her second year on The Harbinger as a staff photographer. When Charlotte isn’t running around shooting events and editing photos, she enjoys hanging out with friends, going to Power Life and is on the Shawnee Mission East swim team. She is very excited to be a senior on staff and see all she accomplishes.

Alex Sajna, Video Editor

Working on his third year on Harbinger staff, senior Alex Sajna is thrilled to lead the video team as a Video Editor and take pictures as a Photographer. Besides Harbinger, Alex runs cross country and track, takes AP classes and works part time. When he’s not in the J-room, you can find Alex working on his car, making up a cross country practice late at night, or hanging out with family and friends.

Claire Goettsch, Photo Mentor

Going into her second semester on Harbinger staff as a photo mentor, junior Claire Goettsch is excited to gain new photo experiences and watch herself improve throughout the year. When she’s not behind the camera or editing photos, Claire juggles many different sports and AP and IB classes. At any free time Claire can get during the week, you can catch her watching her favorite Netflix shows with her dogs and eating goldfish, especially the flavor blasted kind.
