After weekly 6 a.m. practices, the SME cheer competition team hosted a showcase to practice their regionals routine. Regionals took place on Saturday, Nov. 5 at Oak Park High School, and the team placed second. Freshman Kate Conrad shares her opinion on their performance. “It was super nerve-racking at first but ended being so much better than I expected,” said Conrad. “I think we all did super good, we worked really well as a team and I’m super excited for regionals.”
