SM East’s freshman baseball team fell to rival Rockhurst High school 14-1 on Wednesday, April 27. The Lancer freshman team had to face Rockhurst’s C team, which led to a tough matchup. Rockhurst managed to score one after another throughout the four innings played. The only run scored for East was by freshman Luke Bartalos on a wild pitch. As explained by the team manager and freshman Alex Andruk, “There were a lot of errors made, the hitting could’ve been better, but all around the team did okay for the most part.”
The team’s next game will be played on Monday, May 2 at 4:15 p.m. against Mill Valley. The game will take place at Mill Valley.
