The boys JV lacrosse team defeated Northland 18-2 on Friday, March 25. The game was played at East’s home field, Westridge. After the first period of the game, the Lancers were up 2-0. By the beginning of the third period, the Lancers had taken their lead up to 11-2. In the middle of the third period the boys scored another 2 goals, making the score 13-2. Northland did not score for the rest of the game. The eighteen goals scored by the lancers were well distributed between the players, allowing several offensive players onto the stats sheet.
The next Boys JV lacrosse game will be played on Monday, March 28 against rival Rockhurst HS. The game is at 6:00 p.m. at Westridge Middle School.
