NEVER BETTER WALL
Never Better? Absolutely. Located on top of a hill in front of free parking spots, this easily accessible wall is perfect for any Kansas Citian who needs to add some flair to their profile picture. This wall would be the type to yell “Home of the Chiefs” at the end of the national anthem because it is just that Kansas City.

Address: McGee Trafficway and Gillham Road  (across from the Union Hill athletic club)

IVY WALL
A classic. Ivy walls in the crossroads are as common as a KC heart shirt at a royals game. Acting as a perfect location for senior pictures to family photos, the green ivy with little white flowers scattered about is a a great background for a fun photo shoot. An extra bonus: the ivy grows on two sides of the building so whatever time of day you go, you are bound to get the perfect lighting

Address: Locust and 18th St. (On the Made in KC store)

GRAFFITI
This alleyway isn’t like the creepy ones you see in Stephen King’s “IT”. Instead, the walls are decked out with bright colors with geometric designs. If you are going for more of an edgy shoot, I’d definitely say this is your spot because of its abstract art. Even better, it is right across the street from the ivy wall, so you can get two walls in one trip.

Address: Locust and 18th St. (Across from the Made in KC store)

#KC LOVES WALL
The boys in blue. Barbecue. Fountains. The plaza lights. 103.3. Any product with the letters K and C on it. That is what #KC loves. This wall is the best spot to hit up during the night to get the city lights in the background. Caution: This is a huge mural. Come for group shots, not close up one-on-ones. Find this wall on top of Barkley’s parking garage. If you want your spontaneous shoot to be free, you can park across the street at Ruin’s pub to avoid the five dollar garage fee.

Address: 1720 Main, Kansas City, MO 64108

6 WALLS IN ONE
If you are looking for a go-to spot where you can get a variety of pictures, this is the place for you. Six colorful murals displaying our love for KC (and for color) line the side of this building. Each mural has its own character from waves on a navy background to green and blue bubbles and the famous KC heart even makes an appearance.

Address: 26st and Summit  (Across from Sacred Heart Parish Hall)

This wall was made for senior pictures. The bright, yet subtle mint wall is a charming background that is guaranteed to make your eyes pop. It’s a simple way to get some color and individuality into those solo shots.
