Top Cross Country Runners Participate in Rim Rock Meet

Over 40 high schools competed in the races at Rim Rock Farm which took place Saturday, Sept. 28 from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30  p.m. During the 14 different races that spanned the day the runners not only had to deal with the not only the weather but also the mud. It rained from 8:30 a.m. till 12:30 p.m.

Only the top 21 boys and girls on the cross country team were able to participate in this Rim Rock Invitational meet

“In comparison to the other teams, we finished in the middle,” head Cross Country coach Tricia Beaham. “We looked strong on the hills, but we were too spread out from our number one to seven runner. The girls JV & C teams ran a strong race as a team.”
