Sophomore Volleyball Falls To Olathe East HS

On Wednesday, Sept. 14 the SM East Sophomore volleyball team played Olathe East and lost 25-14 in the first set. In the second set, the Lancers were leading the second set up until the last couple of minutes and lost 23-17. Even though the sophomore team lost the game, sophomore Kate Kounkel said that a highlight was “when Paige got a really good block.” Kate also said that her team “needed to communicate better because we were so flustered.”

The team’s next match is on Monday, Sept. 19 against Gardener Edgerton at SM West, starting at 5 p.m.
