Preston Hooker
Senior Preston Hooker has participated in Football, Track, Policy Debate and more throughout his four years at Shawnee Mission East. The one thing he’s stuck with is Harbinger. Preston is entering his third and final year on staff as a Video Editor, Advertisement Manager, Copy Editor, Staff Writer and Staff Artist. With a full plate in front of him, Preston is excited to finish strong through his high school career, with additional AP and IB courses, to propel him into a hopeless career in film. »
Hudson Terreros
Joining as a new staffer this year, Hudson will be figuring out how to use a camera effectively to film moments and make the most of it. He loves to draw as well and capture feelings and actions through a pen and an iPad. Always down for a trip to the LEGO store, Hudson is excited to be on the Harbinger. »
Rowan McGill
Entering her first year on the Harbinger is freshman Rowan McGill. She's so excited to join the community and to work as a staff writer, videographer and be on the social media team! When she's not hard at work on all her homework she needs to get done you can see her visiting friends, rewatching Hamilton for the millionth time or at Swig drinking a soda. She’s pumped to be able to work with so many other great people and to do what she loves most: journalism. »
Alex Harden
Entering his second semester on staff, sophomore Alex Harden is on writing and video staff. In between stories, he can be found drinking coffee at Waffle House and watching movies. Alex is ready for his second semester as a writer and his first semester on video staff. Hopefully, he’ll figure out how to work the camera. »
