Tonight is Culver’s Night, a fundraiser for the SM East Parent Teacher Association (PTA). The fundraiser is organized with the Culver’s on Metcalf. Teachers will be serving food from five to eight p.m., and during that time, 10 percent of the proceeds will be given to the PTA. Brenda Fishman was in charge of organizing the fundraiser, and it will be the only fundraiser for PTA throughout the year.
“It’s just a great time for our teachers to have fun and serve food to the kids,” East principal John McKinney said.
