MAINstream Coalition is the Moderate Alliance of Informed Neighbors, a nonpartisan organization that works to elect moderate candidates from both parties in Kansas and Missouri. MAINstream endorses candidates each year and provides opportunities to get involved in electing those candidates.

Started this July, The Midwest Democracy Project (MDP) is a great site to help you stay up to date on Kansas and Missouri politics. Put together by the Kansas City Star, the University of Kansas William Allen White School of Journalism and Mass Communications, and the University of Missouri School of Journalism, MDP offers the newest information about candidates and their voting records, how specific elections are playing out, and the issues.
