Tune into Zoom meeting at 1 p.m. to learn how businessman Andy Rieger has adapted his company during the coronavirus

On Thursday, April 16, digital design and business teacher Jennifer Hair will be hosting a virtual luncheon for all students to listen to guest speaker and former East alumni Andy Rieger.

After losing normal revenue overnight due to the coronavirus, Rieger will be discussing how his distillery business, J. Rieger & Co., has adapted from selling alcohol to creating hand sanitizer within 36 hours.

A post on their Instagram stated that they have produced and distributed 110,000 individual bottles of hand sanitizer in three weeks. Which is almost 36,000 gallons, and they will keep going as long as there is a need.

The luncheon will take place on Thursday at 1 p.m. on Zoom. Hair has already created a scheduled meeting and suggests students come with questions.
