Lancer Debates is a Harbinger podcast series hosted by sophomore Luciana Mendy. In each episode, two different lancer students share their thoughts and opinions while debating each other on fun pop culture topics. Entering her second year on the Harbinger staff as an Assistant Online Editor, Assistant Copy Editor, Social Media staff member and Writer, junior Luciana Mendy is looking forward to intense but fun deadlines. Beginning her second year on staff, junior Lucy Stephens is thrilled to take on the role of Head Social Media Editor, Assistant Online Editor and Copy Editor. When she finally finishes her story ideas or closes InDesign after completing a game day post, she can usually be found hanging out with friends, dancing at her studio or checking up on her Hay Day farm. Along with Harbinger, Lucy is also a member of the Lancer Dancers and Girls Swim Team. »
Now starting her third year on staff, junior Lyla Weeks is extremely excited to be back on staff after her semester delay due to her enrollment in the medical science program at the CAA. She is an assistant social media editor and page designer, and has enjoyed spreading her creative ideas into Indesign and Instagram. Outside of the J-Room, Lyla spends most of her time dancing, volunteering and hanging out with her best friends. She is also a member of the varsity Lancer Dancers, SHARE and NCL. »
