Lancer Debates (Episode 1): Staffers Luciana Mendy, Addie Moore and Sophia Brockmeier debate Jeremiah vs. Conrad from “The Summer I Turned Pretty”

Starting her first year on the Harbinger staff, Sophomore Luciana Mendy is excited to step into her roles as a staff writer, multimedia staffer and social media staffer. Though she loves writing interesting stories and making creative videos and posts, Luciana also enjoys just kicking around a soccer ball with friends, being a member of the SME debate program and most importantly watching random YouTube videos while procrastinating on her homework. »

Entering into her second year on staff sophomore Sophia Brockmeier is ecstatic to be a writer, page designer, A&E section editor, copy editor and social media staff member. Sophia often finds herself running with her teammates during cross country or track season and practicing her various instruments in the band room. When she’s not swamped with school work or drafting up new story ideas Sophia enjoys fostering kittens and visiting new sushi restaurants. »

Entering her third year on staff as assistant print editor, junior Addie Moore couldn’t be more excited. She’s looking forward to tormenting Katie and Greyson during late night PDF sessions and jamming out to the Riff-Off from Pitch Perfect in the back room. When she’s not editing countless stories or working on Page 2, she spends time hanging out with her nanny kids and crams in homework for multiple AP and IB classes. »
