Girls’ Basketball Players Reflect on the Season Q&A

Kyle Haverty (Senior):

Q: How did you feel about the season overall?

A: I feel like we definitely improved from last year not only on the court but we all became really close on the court. We put in some new set plays towards the end of the season and I think it helped a lot.

Q: How do you feel with this being your last season on East’s team?

A: It has definitely been very sad but I don’t think there was any other way of going out than beating South on my senior night. I’ve made very important relationships with all my teammates and it’s been my favorite part of high school.

Quincy Bair (Senior):

Q: How do you feel about the season overall?

A: I felt we made a lot of improvements, but we still have a long way to go in the future.

Sofia Stechschulte (Junior):

Q: How did you feel about the season?

A: It was definitely a rough season, especially for me because I came in halfway through after recovering from my surgery. We got more wins this year so I think we did improve but there’s definitely a long way to go. It was frustrating because we also had a lot of injuries in general.
