Gallery: Winter Jazz Band & Band Concert

On Thursday, December 1st, the jazz band and band had a holiday themed performance in the school auditorium, after about a month of practicing in and out of school. “I think it was probably our best rep yet and thats exactly what we were preparing for,” sophomore Russel Revare said, who plays the flute. “I think we all played well. It wasn’t perfect, but nothing ever is, and I’ll take our best rep of the year to be our most important.” There were twelve songs within the performance, and the performance lasted from 7-9pm. “The students all had a blast while playing, and the audience seemed to love it,” sophomore Max McMahon said, who plays the alto saxophone. “There were lots of fun solos in the jazz band, and the audience’s reactions [to the solos] were very enthusiastic… Plus, the ugly sweaters brought everything to the next level.”
