Gallery: Volleyball hosts the Dig Pink event

The SME Volleyball annual Dig Pink event raised over $1,500 Tuesday night during the fundraiser to raise awareness and funds for stage four breast cancer. All proceeds are donated to Side-Out’s stage four breast cancer research. In between games players awarded family members or friends that had cancer or are currently fighting cancer with a pink rose. Schools, tournaments, and clubs nationwide participate in this event to help spread awareness. Freshman, Sophomore, Junior Varsity, and Varsity all defeated SM South in their games that followed.
