Gallery: Varsity Wrestling Bobcat Invitational

The boys varsity wrestling team packed up for the weekend and headed west to Basehor Kansas for the Bobcat Invitational tournament. The tournament was held at Basehor-Linwood High School, and was one of the biggest of the year in terms of size and importance. There were 34 total teams, most of which were from in the state, but some teams competed from our northern neighboring states like Iowa and Nebraska. East had eight boys compete in the tournament, and each wrestler had 5 matches to complete through out the day. Over all the Lancers placed 11th out of those 34 teams, and will still go on to compete in other matches prior to the state tournament. Also, congratulations to Blaine Hill, who placed first in his weight division bracket.
