The Lancers faced off against the Bishop Miege Stags in the “Staghunt” Wednesday night, Sept. 27. Pep Club posted the game on Instagram telling students to show up to the game “to kick off our Homecoming celebration.” East won their first and second and fourth sets 25-21, 26-24 and 25-9, loosing their third set 26-24. Sophomore Bekah Slaughter also celebrated her 1000 career assist earlier this week.
Varsity is scheduled to play their next game Thursday, Sept. 28 at 6 p.m. against Olathe South, this will be an away game.
