Gallery: Varsity Lacrosse Defeats Blue Valley Eastside 19-8 on Senior Night

Senior Night for the boys varsity lacrosse team was held this Tuesday, April 12 at the game against Blue Valley Eastside. All 26 senior players and managers were recognized and escorted on the field with their families during halftime. In a windy game, the Lancers defeated Blue Valley Eastside 19-8.

In the first few minutes of the game, BV Eastside scored 3 quick goals before the Lancers had successfully scored. Senior Max Holzbeirlein scores 3 in a row, and the Lancers were trailing 3-4 at the end of the first quarter. In the second quarter, the Lancers come back and score 7 goals. At halftime, the score was 10-5 and the senior night ceremony took place. During the second half, the Lancers kept their lead and continued to score. At the final whistle, the Lancers had won the game 19-8.

The team receives a week off from games and plays Blue Valley Southwest on April 22 at 7 p.m. at Westridge.
