Gallery: Varsity Football vs. SMW

 

The Lancers took on the Shawnee Mission West Vikings on Thursday October 20 as their last conference game of the season. The game was geared toward raising awareness for breast cancer awareness month as the student section was themed “pink out” along with the cheerleaders and dancers who also participated in wearing all pink. The Little Lancer cheer clinic participants performed for their parents alongside the cheerleaders for the first half. Scoring early, senior Milton Braasch scored the first touchdown of the night. The Lancers went into halftime with a score of 49-0, the lancers with the lead. After halftime, the lancers continued to score ending the game with a 63-0 victory.

Katherine Odell is a senior at Shawnee Mission East and this will be her second year on staff as a staff photographer. In addition to Harbinger, Katherine is involved in Share, and a member of Deca. She enjoys spending her free time hanging out with friends, eating spin pizza, or binge-watching netflix. Katherine can’t wait for the year ahead and to meet new staff members. »

Ty Browning

Ty Browning
Ty Browning is a junior at Shawnee Mission East and is a photographer. This will be his third year on staff. He enjoys rock climbing and loves disc golf as well as playing tennis for East. He's excited to continue his sister's legacy on the harbinger and can't wait to improve his photography skills. »
