Gallery: Varsity Football Falls to Olathe East 33-14

Varsity football took on Olathe East at CBAC on Friday evening resulting in a 33-14 loss. The team’s first touch down was scored in the first quarter by Senior Dillon Mong bringing the score to 12-7. Senior Captain and quarterback George Kopp says the team had success with passing the ball, but struggled with running the ball and special teams. East scored once more in the second half but were unable to overtake Olathe by the end of the game. “The defense started slow but ended up doing well stopping them” says Junior safety Ryan Dehan. Their next game is on Friday September 16 at 7 pm against Lawrence High at Shawnee Mission North.
