Gallery: Varsity Football Defeats Shawnee Mission North at the Lancer Day Football Game

On Lancer Day, many students came to watch the first football Friday Night Lights, where the Lancers beat Shawnee Mission North 28-7. Near the end of halftime, an administer announced that there was lightning in the area and fans needed to go to their cars. Students spread out from where they went: getting food, sitting in their cars, or going home. Many of those who went home left because they remembered the football game from two years ago had the same situation, but was rescheduled. However, this year the game was back on within thirty minutes.
