The SM east boys wrestling team went up against Blue Valley in their home opener. The dual began with the 144 weight class, Grey Robinson won his round making the score 6-0. But this match was followed by a series of losses by the team. But senior Jayden Schuessler came back and won by fall in his match, the score came to be 12-29. Junior Ethan Woltkamp and senior Luke Clayton also won by fall. Senior Ethan Jenkinson was the last to compete and he won his match by decision. The east team ultimately fell to Blue Valley 27-53. They continued their season on Dec. 2nd at the Spring Dual Tournament. They compete next in an invitational against Anderson County on Dec. 10 at 9 a.m.
