Gallery: Varsity Baseball defeats Shawnee Mission South 4-0

The Lancer varsity baseball team defeated their rivals Shawnee Mission South on Tuesday, April 26. With a slow start to the game, it was tied 0-0 going into the bottom of the fourth inning. After hits from freshman Cole Chinnock, junior Matthew Bolinger and sophomore Scotty Fegen, the bases were loaded. Senior Emmett Hill hit a single resulting in two runs. Shortly after, senior Tate Moody hit a double adding two more runs. The Lancers were up 4-0 at the end of the fourth inning. Neither team scored in the final three innings resulting in a Lancer victory.

The team’s next game will be played on Tuesday, May 3 at 5:30 p.m. against Olathe South. The away game will take place at Olathe District Activity Center.

When she isn’t overthinking every photo from a recent shoot in the back room, you can find her in the SHARE room with her fellow execs, out on the tennis courts or wrangling her zoo of pets at home. Whether it’s brainstorming portraits or begging for validation from Tate, she will find any excuse to be in the J-room and hopes to give back as much to this staff as it has to her. »
