Gallery: SM Girls Varsity Lacrosse Defeats Bishop Miege 15-14

On Friday, May 5, the SM varsity girls lacrosse team defeated Bishop Miege 15-14.  Junior Rubi Hakes won player of the game. Hakes was able to block many shots by the Bishop Miege attackers and led SM to a victory. The game started at 6:00 p.m. and ended at 7:00 p.m.. Junior Campbell Griffin scored an eight-meter shot, which added an additional point for SM in the second half. Shawnee Mission was able to pull ahead in the last minute of the game after being tied at 13-13. Then, freshman Hadley Delaney scored the game winning goal.

The SM girls varsity lacrosse team's next game will be Wednesday, May 6 against Notre Dame de Sion at Sion at 6:00 p.m..
