Gallery: Signing Day

Seven seniors signed letters of intent for their chosen college on Wednesday, Feb. 9. They were surrounded by friends, family, coaches and teammates who came to support their continuation of athletics at the collegiate level. Each table was elaborately decorated with balloons, pictures, cookies and college gear showcasing their new school. A list of the seniors and their colleges as follows:

Patrick Bergkamp: Johnson County Community College Baseball

Ella Bunde: Princeton University Volleyball

Evan Deedy: Claremont McKenna College Swim & Dive

Heisler Ferren: MidAmerica Nazarene University Baseball

Grace Meyer: Kansas State University Track & Field

Tate Moody: Wichita State University Baseball

Tess Roman: Wichita State University Track & Field

Senior Riley Eck is eager to start her second year on staff as a photo mentor. When she is not taking photos or writing captions, you may find her in the SHARE room talking about upcoming volunteer events, in the Student Store trying to get people to do their jobs or working on endless amounts of homework. In the little free time Riley has, the chances are she is buying candles, teaching her dog new tricks in German or signing herself up for new, time consuming, activities. »
