The junior varsity SM girls lacrosse team will be going to the playoffs. On Friday, May 1, the team played their last regular season game against Bishop Miege. Sophomore Ella Croker scored the first goal of the game three minutes after the draw. At the end of the first quarter, the score was 3-0 Shawnee Mission. The team had a shut out, meaning no goals were scored on them, and finished the game 12-0. The SMGL girls qualified for playoffs with one of the top four records in the KC Metro Girls Lacrosse League.
The girls JV lacrosse team has its next game on Wednesday, May 13 against St. Theresa's at 5:30 p.m. at Pembroke Hill.
