SHARE hosted a dodgeball tournament last Thursday, Nov. 11 in the main gym. The entry fee was one cereal box per person, benefitting the Johnson Country Christmas Bureau. Any extra cereal boxes brought counted as an extra life in the game. A total of 29 teams signed up for the bracket-style play tournament; each team consisted of 8-9 players. The tournament was single-elimination until the final four, then the teams played best two out of three. In the finals, team PTU, consisting of varsity soccer players, battled team CNHATP, consisting of all sophomores. In the final game, sophomore Wes Lyerly threw the last shot hitting junior Emerson Bihuniak, and CNHATP claimed victory.

Photo Editor Macy Crosser believes there is no better way to spend her senior year than capturing photos or proofing captions in the J-room for Harbinger! If you can’t reach her (and you probably won’t), Crosser is either at drill team choreo, Kansas City Ballet, AP and IB classes, NHS Service chair meetings, TCP President duties or at dive team. Good luck finding her! In any spare time she has, there is a good chance she’s watching the sunset while listening to Taylor Swift, Celsius in hand. »

Senior Julia Fillmore could not be more excited to start her second year on staff as a photo mentor. She is thrilled to jump right back into deadlines, hanging out in the J-room and just getting to go out and shoot. Along with Harbinger, Julia is also involved in tennis, swim, student store, DECA, Link Crew and SHARE. If she’s not doing one of those things, you can probably find her hanging out with friends, driving around, or in a Powerlife class. She can’t wait to see what the year brings! »
