Freshmen file into the gym for their first taste of SM East. Booths line the gym promoting various clubs such as theater, PTA, and the East fund. Around 6:20 everyone settles down for a mini pep rally. Freshmen meet student body president A.J. Orth as well as hear from their own class president Claire Gibbs. The cheerleaders, lancer dancers, and chamber singers preform and the night wraps up with an all school watermelon feed.
