Gallery: Lancer Dancers Host Innovative Showcase

On Friday, Nov. 4, and Saturday, Nov. 5, the Lancer Dancers hosted the annual Innovative Showcase. During the Friday showcase, the Varsity Lancer Dancers performed their dances for friends, family, and other schools to prepare for State on Nov. 18. They performed their game day routine, which consisted of pom and hip-hop dances, and a contemporary routine titled “Miracle”. On Saturday, the JV Lancer Dancers also performed their Game Day and Jazz routines. Both JV and Varsity helped at the showcase Friday and Saturday to host the showcase and encourage other teams. Sophomore Grace Demetriou shares her experience from the showcase “I was excited to get the routines out on the stage for the first time and rip off the band-aid of performing in front of a bigger audience” Demetriou says.
