Gallery: JV Softball Falls to Free State 19-3

The JV Lancer Softball team fell to Lawrence Free State in the second game of a doubleheader on Monday, April 19 at the Shawnee Mission Softball Complex. In the first game, pitched by freshman Juliana Jamison, the Lancers lost 22-4. At the beginning of the second game, freshman pitcher Maggie Franklin and the Lancers led the Firebirds 2-1, before the Firebirds pulled ahead. The Lancers are coached by JV Head Coach Kristen Ekval and assisted by varsity Head Coach Mallory Dittemore. Due to small numbers and a shortage of coaches, Lancer Softball did not have a JV for the 2021 season.
