Gallery: JV Boys’ Soccer vs Lee Summit West

The East JV Boys’ Soccer team played Lee Summit West on Saturday, September 8th. Playing for third place in the Brandon Clendening Memorial tournament at Shawnee Mission South, the final score was 2-2. In a tournament the rules of a tie is penalty kicks. The boys fell short in the penalty shoot out and received 4th place in the tournament overall.

As her third year on staff, senior Megan Biles is very excited for her last year on this marvelous publication. She is starting her second year as Photo Mentor and her first year as Mobile Media Photo editor. At East, Megan is also involved in STUCO, Student Store, DECA, Track and Field, and is a Pep Exec. Outside of school you can find Megan hanging out with her friends, taking Zumba classes at the local Y, and baking some delicious muffins for her business, Megan’s Munchies. In these very different times Megan is trying to make the most of her Senior year. »
