Gallery: Homecoming Football Game vs. Olathe North

The Lancers beat the Olathe North Eagles 45-14. In the first quarter, junior, Parker Willis, scored a field putting East on the scoreboard. Senior Payton Wiklund scored the first touchdown of the game, making the score 10-0. Senior Milton Braasch scored two touchdowns in the second quarter, running 100 yards in total. Braasch, again, scored two more touchdowns in the third quarter, along with junior Rashaun Burney scoring a touchdown. The homecoming queen and her court were announced at halftime. Senior Toni Englund was crowned queen with Kirby Motsinger as her first attendant and Savanna Worthington as second attendant. Senior Sam Fay was crowned king at the dance on Saturday night, with Tommy Nelson as his first attendant and Robbie Veglahn as his second attendant.

Ty Browning
Ty Browning is a junior at Shawnee Mission East and is a photographer. This will be his third year on staff. He enjoys rock climbing and loves disc golf as well as playing tennis for East. He's excited to continue his sister's legacy on the harbinger and can't wait to improve his photography skills. »
