Gallery: Girls Varsity Volleyball Defeats Shawnee Mission South 3-0

The SM East Varsity Volleyball team hosted SM South in a Sunflower League dual, along with their senior night on Thursday, Oct. 6. Prior to the match, the seniors were walked across the court escorted by their parents and received flowers from their underclassmen teammates. The Lancers started off their first set strong, with freshmen Beckah Slaughter and Macy Sims getting several blocks and senior Annie Bastein getting multiple kills. The Lancers defeated the Raiders in three straight sets, going 25-15, 25-16, and 25-19.

The Lancers will have their next match on Oct. 10 against North Kansas City and SM North.
