Gallery: Girls Varsity Soccer Practice

Through the week February 27-March 3, girls soccer tryouts happened. By the end of the week, on Friday, the girls know what team they made. The teams were divided into C-team, JV, and Varsity. On Wednesday, March 8, the girls varsity soccer team had their third practice as a team. On Wednesday, the girls began by warming up, doing runs and leg swings and high knees. They then proceeded to warm up by passing the ball around, doing head bumps, and kicking the ball to team mates. A normal practice would include a warmup, stretches, cycles, possession, then whatever Coach Kelly has planned for the day. The girls varsity team had a great season last year, making it to sub state. The girls are hopeful for a great season this year, with hopes of making it to state. “I’m super excited!!! I know we have great depth on the team and we have a great offense that can score some goals and a great defense to stop some shots, so overall I’m super excited about this season!”
