Gallery: Girls Varsity Soccer Falls to SM Northwest 2-1

The Girls Varsity Soccer team was defeated by the Cougars on Tuesday, April 19, 2-1. The first goal of the game came from SMNW in the first half. In the first 10 minutes of the second half, the Lancers scored their first goal from Mary Long. Long was assisted by senior Emily Moseley who passed her the ball and set up the shot in goal. Shortly after the Lancers took over the lead, the Cougars came back and took the lead after scoring a penalty kick. The Lancer’s record is 4-3-1 and League is 2-2-1. The Lancer’s next game is Thursday, April 28 at 7:00 at College Boulevard Activity center against Olathe North West.
