Gallery: Girls Varsity Lacrosse Falls to Blue Valley 12-9 in the Championship Game

The Shawnee mission girls lacrosse team fell to Blue Valley 12-9 during the final championship game on Thursday, May 13. The team’s record for the season was 4-6. At halftime Shawnee mission was in the lead with a score of 6-3. During the second half, Blue Valley gained the lead and the final score was 12-9. Before the game, the Kansas City metro girls lacrosse association gave out all metro awards to Senior Addie Dunbar and Junior Payton Thomas from Mill Valley Highschool.
