Gallery: Girls Varsity Lacrosse Defeats Park 24-9

Shawnee Mission varsity girls lacrosse defeated Park Girls Lacrosse in their first home game of the season on Thursday, Mar. 30. At the end of the first half, Shawnee Mission lead Park 15-5. Shawnee Mission continued to hold the lead in the second half, defeating Park 24-9. Junior goalie, Claire Schudy, had a total of 19 shots on goal and 10 saves. Goals were scored by the following:

Freshman Riley Thomas (6)

Sophomores Brynn Delaney (6) and Madeline Van Auken (1)

Juniors Lauren McGuire (1) and Jordan Pindell (2)

Seniors Kate Beaulieu (3), Avery Kim (1), Emily Pollock (1) and Morgan Turpin (3)

The team is scheduled to play their next game on Monday, April 3 at 7 p.m. against Lee Summit West at Westridge Middle School.
