Gallery: Girls Varsity Basketball Falls to Shawnee Mission West 58-20

The Girls Varsity Basketball team fell to Shawnee Mission West 58-20 on Friday, Feb. 5. Senior Reese Althouse led the Lady Lancers in baskets, scoring nine of the team’s 20 points. The team’s head coach, Doug Archer, was absent from the game due to being quarantined, leaving assistant coach, Matt Jacobsen, in charge of the team. Archer FaceTimed in on Jacobsen’s phone during halftime to give the team advice on their play. The Girls next game is away, facing Lawrence High School tonight at 7 p.m.
