Gallery: Girls JV Lacrosse Falls to St. Michaels 10-9

The Shawnee Mission girls JV lacrosse team was up 2-0 in the first quarter, as they were leading the quarter from the start of the game with two quick goals in under three minutes. However, St. Michaels was able to come back in the second quarter, and it resulted 5-5 at halftime. Going into the third quarter, St. Michaels scored two quick goals and Shawnee Mission scored another, trailing behind. At the end of the third quarter, St. Michaels had scored three more. Shawnee Mission went on a run after that, scoring 3 quick goals in a row in under five minutes. But, at the end of the fourth quarter, St. Michaels was able to pull ahead with a 10-9 victory over Shawnee Mission. Scoring was evenly divided between the girls, with sophomore attacker Harper Pendleton being the only one with two goals.

Shawnee Mission’s next game is away, Thursday, April 9th against St. Thomas Aquinas.
