Gallery: Girls JV Basketball Falls to Olathe South 48-22

Girls JV Basketball hosted Olathe South on Tuesday, Jan. 10 for the first game of the season after winter break. At halftime, the Lancers were down 20-11. By the end of the 4th quarter, the Lancers were down by 26 points, and ended up loosing to Olathe South 48-22. East had a total of seven 2-point shots, two 3-pointers, made by freshman Hannah Achatz and sophomore Naomi Kincaid, and two free throws shots. The team's record now stands at 1-5.

The next JV game is scheduled for Friday, Jan. 13. The game will be hosted at Shawnee Mission North West at 4 p.m.

Paige hopes to study filmmaking next year and continue creating media. »

Senior Amelie Wong is entering her third and final year on staff as Harbinger’s first ever head online photo editor. Though she is still trying to figure out all of the responsibilities for her new role, she is so excited to see what new challenges this year brings. When Amelie is not in the J-room you can probably find her at Target buying more Red Bull or Starbucks getting her third coffee of the day. »

Kate Beaulieu

Senior Kate Beaulieu is going into her third and final year on Harbinger as a Staff Photographer. When Kate isn’t taking sports photos, specifically lacrosse ones, she can be found babysitting, rewatching 10 Things I Hate About You, and hanging out with friends. During school hours, Kate is taking AP classes, playing tennis, being social media coordinator for the Freelancer, being a chair for Unified Teams, and playing varsity lacrosse. »
