Gallery: Girls JV Basketball Defeats Olathe Northwest

As the end of the season draws closer, the JV girls basketball team is sitting on a 7-8 record after defeating Olathe Northwest 29-26 on Feb 15. The Lancers led for the majority of the game, scoring nearly a third of their points within the first quarter. Freshman Marie Ptacek contributed the most points, followed by Freshman Emory Naylor, pulling the team ahead with her 100% from the free-throw line. As the Ravens began to catch up near the end, an aggressive foul drew blood from junior Cate Holzbeierlein as she went for a layup. The Lancers pulled ahead from a 1 point lead to the final score of 29. Catch the next JV girls basketball play Mill Valley at 4:00 on Feb 18 at SME.
