Leading all four quarters of the game, the c team girls defeated SM North on Wednesday, Jan. 17. During the first quarter, the Lancers led 16-0. During the second quarter, the Cougars scored a two pointer and the Lancers scored 8 points. The quarter ended with the Lancers leading 24-2. During the third quarter, the Lancers scored 13 more points to end with a score of 37-2. During the fourth quarter, the Lancers scored 5 more points with the final point being scored by sophomore Grace Rayfield as a free throw. The top scorer of the game was freshman Ava Murray with 11 points. The c team girl’s record is now 9-0, continuing their undefeated season.
The next girls c team game will be at home on Wednesday, Jan. 24 at 6 p.m. against St. James Academy.
