Gallery: Cheerleaders Perform Competition Routine

The competition cheer squad performed their routine for the first and last time for parents last Friday, March 12. The squad did not get a chance to compete due to COVID. They have been practicing twice a week since the fall. The night before the performance, the team ran the routine full out eight times.

“I felt very energized and excited as all of us girls were encouraging each other through the entire thing,” said junior Lindsay Brown.

Cheerleaders were not allowed to stunt due to COVID precautions, which made the routine different than previous years. More tumbling, dancing, and jumps were incorporated to make up for the loss of stunting.

“The team did very good with what we were limited to; we definitely made the most of it!” said Brown.
