Gallery: Boys Varsity Soccer vs Blue Valley West

The boys varsity soccer team beat Blue Valley West 1-0 East during their regional qualifiers game. Senior Conor O’Toole, one of East’s team captains, scored the winning goal during the second half of the game. The game took place on October 23, 2018 at the Shawnee Mission Athletic Complex. The Lancers will face the Olathe West Owls at Olathe West High School on Thursday, October 25th.

Senior Trevor Paulus is ready for his, not exactly normal, 3rd year on staff. This year Trevor is the Head Photo Editor and is excited to take on the challenges this position offers. You can always see Sporting his black camera bag and constantly changing lenses for the perfect shot. Besides Harbinger, Trevor is involved in Chinese Club, NHS, NCHS, Share, Playing tennis or staying active. If you don't see him with a camera he is most likely blasting music while driving around with friends. »

Aislinn Menke is a junior at Shawnee Mission East and is on the staff for photography for the Harbinger. This will be her second year on staff. Aislinn also does track for SME, enjoys taking art classes, and exploring coffee shops downtown in her free time. »

Ty Browning

Ty Browning
Ty Browning is a junior at Shawnee Mission East and is a photographer. This will be his third year on staff. He enjoys rock climbing and loves disc golf as well as playing tennis for East. He's excited to continue his sister's legacy on the harbinger and can't wait to improve his photography skills. »

Megan Biles

Megan Biles
As her third year on staff, senior Megan Biles is very excited for her last year on this marvelous publication. She is starting her second year as Photo Mentor and her first year as Mobile Media Photo editor. At East, Megan is also involved in STUCO, Student Store, DECA, Track and Field, and is a Pep Exec. Outside of school you can find Megan hanging out with her friends, taking Zumba classes at the local Y, and baking some delicious muffins for her business, Megan’s Munchies. In these very different times Megan is trying to make the most of her Senior year. »
